
OK, I admit, I've been lazy with the blog. It's summer and I've been spending time outside and with the family. This week I have a short list of headlines, but there were at least a couple of important events in the Church that deserve mentioning. Pope Francis published his first encyclical ( a joint effort with Pope Emeritus Benedict XVI), and also it has been announced that Pope John Paul II and Pope John XXIII will soon be canonized.
